Brown Bag Seminar Series
The Brown Bag Seminar Series is a mechanism for established scientists to share their experience and offer guidance to EPA trainees. The informal atmosphere of the seminars fosters discussion and creates an open dialogue between the speakers and the trainees. The Brown Bag Seminars are held once a month in the Fall and the Spring, and are generally scheduled during lunchtime so attendees can bring their lunch. Anyone is welcome to attend these seminars.
Past seminar topics include:
- Managing a Scientific Workgroup
- Addressing the Public
- Scientific Integrity
- Careers at a Core Research Facility
- Grant Writing Workshop
- CV/Resume Preparation
NLTO encourages questions, comments, or suggestions for our Brown Bag Seminar topics or speakers. Please e-mail any of the NLTO officers.
