CFEIS Dial-In Information

Search for Documents

Search the Document Index System (DIS) database to find:

CFEIS account set-up and access for light-duty vehicle manufacturers

Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) passwords expire every year on December 31st.

To change a password or establish a new account, please do the following:

  1. Print the CFEIS Dial-In Password Form (PDF) (1 pp, 5K, About PDF Files)
  2. Fill out the form
  3. Mail it to: Kassem Abbas, U.S. EPA, 2000 Traverwood, Ann Arbor, MI 48105

The regular dial-in access phone number is 734-214-4123.

Electronic Application Program (EAP) submissions should be uploaded by dialing 734-214-4118.

If you experience any connection problems contact Kassem Abbas at 734-214-4337 or Sandra Somoza at 734-214-4704.

A good example of dial-in instructions for Windows 95/98/2000 was provided to us by Hyundai.   If you have had problems with your connection, and are using Windows 95/98/2000, try following these instructions.

All manufacturers planning to submit data electronically to CFEIS need to test their dial-in equipment with us before submitting data.
