Lead: Abatement Training and Certification
Lead Safety for Remodeling, Repair, and Painting: EPA
and HUD have developed an updated internet training course to instruct
renovators, painters, and maintenance personnel on how to work safely
in homes with lead-based paint. This training is recommended for
all contractors who perform renovation, remodeling, painting, and
maintenance work in residential housing built before 1978. The course
is interactive with hands-on activities for practicing the skills
that workers need to avoid creating lead hazards in the homes where
they work. Go to the Joint EPA/HUD Renovation Training Curriculum or NELAR
.
