During the 2011 World Pork Expo, AgSTAR held an educational seminar entitled Got Manure? Want Energy? Explore Anaerobic Digestion! The seminar allowed participants to learn about currently operating anaerobic digestion systems, what needs to be considered when looking to develop a digester project, and resources available to assist with the development of an anaerobic digester project.
