Download FarmWare 3.3

FarmWare is an analytical tool designed to provide a preliminary assessment on the benefits of integrating anaerobic digestion into an existing or planned dairy or swine manure management system. Appendix C (PDF, 71 pp., 1.6 MB) to the AgSTAR Handbook provides detailed instructions on how to use FarmWare.

FarmWare 3.3 contains updated computations for biogas energy generation and revenues from on-site electricity use. FarmWare is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, 2000, 98, or Microsoft VISTA.

Note: If you have already installed FarmWare, you should remove it before installing this file. The installation program you download from the link on this page will detect the previous version and display a screen asking whether you would like to modify, repair, or remove FarmWare before proceeding. Click the Remove option to uninstall FarmWare. After successfully uninstalling, restart the same installation program to install the updated version.

Note for VISTA users: Because your c:\program Files\ folder may be protected, we recommend you install FarmWare in a folder other then the default folder. For instance, instead of installing the program in c:\Program Files\Farmware, you can install it in c:\Farmware or similar.
