| Description |
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), administrator of the New York State Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) program, is accepting applications for financial incentives to support the purchase, installation, and operation of anaerobic digester systems in New York State. Both capacity and performance-based electricity production incentives are available. Generally, only customers that pay the RPS Surcharge are eligible to receive funding through this program. Approximately $57 million is being made available to support the installation and operation of anaerobic digester gas-to-electricity systems in New York. Funding is on a first-come, first-served basis. Up to $1 million is available per host site, depending on project size. |
