Responsibilities
The SBAG is responsible for:
Conducting human and ecological exposure and risk assessments in support of the hazardous air pollutant program
and the development of sector-based standards, including:
Evaluating petitions to add and delete substances from the list of hazardous air pollutants;
Evaluating petitions to add or delete entities from the list of regulated source categories;
Evaluating substitutes for hazardous air pollutants;
Assessing health risks associated with setting sector-based standards; and
