Coral Reef Fish - Angelfishes

Angelfishes belong to the family Pomacanthidae have deep compressed bodies, continuous dorsal fin, and a prominant spine extending from the rear cheek over the lower gill cover that distinguish them from butterflyfishes. Like butterflyfishes, the adults are fairly easy to identify but the juveniles are much more challenging.
