EPA is presenting a webinar on the use of the CDR electronic reporting tool on May 8, 2012, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. EDT. The webinar will serve as a reminder on how to access the eCDRweb application and as a walk-through of the application tool itself. Time will be allotted for questions related to the reporting tool. Answers to your questions about Chemical Data Reporting
You may now access the Agency-provided electronic reporting tool, eCDRweb, to electronically complete and submit your CDR Form U. If you have already registered through EPA's Central Data Exchange (CDX) you may go back and access the e-CDRweb. If you have not registered, you must first register with CDX under the new "Submissions for Chemical Safety and Pesticide Programs (CSPP)" to access the eCDRweb tool. Further information.

In August 2011 EPA issued the final Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) Rule) previously referred to as the Inventory Update Reporting (IUR) Modifications Rule. The purpose of this program is to collect quality screening-level, exposure-related information on chemical substances and to make that information available for use by EPA and, to the extent possible, due to data confidentiality claims, to the public. The CDR data are used to support risk screening, assessment, priority setting and management activities and constitute the most comprehensive source of basic screening-level, exposure-related information on chemicals available to EPA.
