January 4, 2013
On Jan. 4, 2013, EPA signed a Federal Register notice announcing the availability of drafts of the first five Work Plan Chemical risk assessments. Comments are due by March 15, 2013. August, 2011
EPA now refers to the Inventory Update Reporting (IUR) rule as the Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) Rule. This change was effective with the publication of the Inventory Update Reporting Modifications; Chemical Data Reporting Final Rule in August 2011.

The submission period for the 2012 CDR ended on August 13, 2012. EPA is continuing to provide support to companies through a range of resources:

Answers to your questions about Chemical Data Reporting

You may now access the Agency-provided electronic reporting tool, eCDRweb, to electronically complete and submit your CDR Form U. If you have already registered through EPA's Central Data Exchange (CDX) you may go back and access the e-CDRweb. If you have not registered, you must first register with CDX under the new "Submissions for Chemical Safety and Pesticide Programs (CSPP)" to access the eCDRweb tool.

The submission period for the CDR rule is from February 1 to August 13, 2012.
