EPA, the American Chemistry Council, and Environmental Defense announced today
that 403 companies, acting individually or through 148 consortia, have committed to provide basic toxicity and fate information to the public on 2011 high volume industrial chemicals by the year 2005, as part of the HPV Challenge Program.
EPA has received a petition under section 21 of the Toxic Substances Control
Act (TSCA) requesting that EPA take regulatory action under section 8 of TSCA that could affect the HPV Challenge Program and the HPV test rule.
