Size of Award	The Michigan Biomass Energy Program (MBEP) provides funding for bioenergy and biofuel projects. Grant awards normally range from $5,000 to $50,000. The MBEP website provides different funding opportunities as they become available.

Additional Information	The Michigan Energy Office has other funding opportunities available for biomass projects. * This is an estimated start date. The US DOE's Regional Biomass Energy Program, which MBEP receives funding from, was established in 1983. This funding program has no expiration date at this point in time. The most recent RFP expired August 29, 2008.
