Size of Award	Missouri established a Wood Energy Tax Credit, effective in 1997. An income tax credit of $5.00 per ton of processed material is available for those processing Missouri forestry industry residues into fuels. If the credit earned is more than an individual's tax liability for that year, then the extra credit can be carried forward for up to 4 years.
