New Hampshire's Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) was awarded $1.5 million in funding from the Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Fund, through the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission to launch a revolving loan program to encourage the state's municipal governments to invest in energy efficiency and alternative energy. Loans of up to $400,000 are available to municipalities. The terms of the loans will be flexible and can be structured as a service contract if desired by the town. |

| Additional Information | CDFA's Municipal Energy Reduction Fund is available to help municipalities improve the energy efficiency of their municipal buildings, street lighting, water and sewer treatment facilities, and where appropriate, electrical distribution systems. The goal is to reduce energy usage and costs. |
