Size of Award The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) seeks proposals to support the development, demonstration, and commercialization of environmentally preferred power systems and electric energy storage technologies. A total of $5 million is available under this announcement.

Additional Information This solicitation includes three categories:
- Early stage innovative product feasibility and technology transfer studies. The maximum funding for this category is $250,000 per project.
- New product development. The maximum funding for this category is $1 million per project.
- Demonstration projects. The maximum funding for this category is $1.5 million.
The proposer must indicate under which category they are proposing.

Proposals for projects receiving or anticipating to receive Renewable Portfolio Standard (RPS) funding are ineligible for funding under this solicitation. Both power generation and energy storage projects must produce electricity.
