Critical Information Connecticut Natural Gas, Southern Connecticut Gas, and Yankee Gas are partnering with the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund to provide commercial, industrial, and municipal customers with a variety of energy saving programs. The programs offer financial incentives to offset the cost of purchasing and installing energy efficient equipment. The programs are Energy Conscious Blueprint, Energy Opportunities Equipment Upgrade, and Operation and Maintenance Services. The Energy Conscious Blueprint program is dedicated towards assisting new construction, planned remodeling, major renovations and new equipment. The Energy Opportunities program helps businesses and municipalities maximize electric and natural gas savings during retrofits to lighting, motors and controls, HVAC equipment, water heaters, commercial cooking equipment and more. The Operation and Maintenance Services program helps businesses identify and implement energy-saving maintenance procedures and enhancements.

Additional Information Incentives are available for customers of Connecticut Natural Gas, Southern Connecticut Gas, and Yankee Gas on a commercial or industrial rate. There are also commercial efficiency programs available for electric customers of Connecticut Light & Power and The United Illuminating Company.

Financial incentives for facility upgrades can be as much as 100 percent of the incremental cost over less energy efficiency low cost measures. Operations and Maintenance incentives will pay for up to 50 percent of the installed cost of the measures. Equipment replacement pre-set incentives range from 30 to 50 percent of the installed cost.
