The evaluation of CHP is part of the Johnson & Johnson Enhanced Best Practices, which is a comprehensive 10-stage checklist of energy improvement recommendations to be implemented at all Johnson & Johnson facilities worldwide. CHP is not only evaluated as a way of providing higher energy reliability, but also as an environmentally friendly technology due to its more efficient use of energy. The implementation of CHP has been determined to be one of the mechanisms for Johnson & Johnson to reach its Carbon Dioxide Emissions Reduction Goals. Johnson & Johnson Worldwide Energy Management promotes, supports, and monitors the evaluation and implementation of CHP at Johnson & Johnson facilities.
