Sega Inc. is an engineering and technical services firm located in the suburban Kansas City area. CHP is one of the company's core service areas. The company performs planning, conceptual design, feasibility analysis, detailed design, procurement, permitting support, construction administration, construction subcontracting, controls configuration, and checkout and startup services for CHP projects. Sega has experience with both design/build and design-bid-build delivery systems. Sega has provided CHP project services for owners, contractor equipment vendors, and project lenders. Sega performed detailed design and engineering services for Trigen-St. Louis Energy Corp's repowering of the downtown St. Louis district heating plant, Ashley Plant. Sega Inc. was the design engineer for the Southern Illinois-Carbondale coal-fired CHP project a few years ago. Most recently, Sega Inc. designed a CHP plant addition (gas turbines and waste heat boilers) for the University of Missouri-Columbia campus.
