| Incentive Size and Funding Source | Hawai'i Gas offers favorable fixed gas and propane rates for CHP projects. They are considering developing project support teams in the future that would assist with infrastructure upgrades, gas delivery and other direct development efforts that might include building, owning and operating CHP projects. Hawai'i Gas supplies gas and some infrastructure to eight operational projects and three projects in development. The list includes resorts, hospitals, military facilities and retirement homes totaling 2.2 MW of operational CHP and 1.4 MW in development. |
