| Incentive Size and Funding Source | NIPSCO, in partnership with Franklin Energy Services, LLC, provides a range of incentive options. CHP projects may qualify for the Commercial & Industrial Custom Electric Incentive Program, Commercial & Industrial New Construction Electric Incentive Program, Custom Natural Gas Incentive Program, and/or Prescriptive Natural Gas Incentive Program, depending on the size and nature of the project. - Commercial & Industrial Custom Electric Incentive is based on electricity reductions in kWh through qualified efficiency improvements equal to $0.09/kWh.
- Commercial & Industrial New Construction Electric Incentive Program incentive is based on electricity reductions in kWh through qualified efficiency improvements at a rate of $0.045/kWh.
- Custom Natural Gas Incentive Program incentive is based on natural gas reductions in therms through qualified efficiency improvements at a rate of $0.60/therm.
- Prescriptive Natural Gas Incentive Program provides incentives for the installation of new, high-efficiency equipment or systems, such as space heating systems, boiler burner controls and heat recovery.li>

- Commercial & Industrial New Construction Electric Incentive Program: Any business or non-profit organization served under NIPSCO electric tariffs 620, 621, 622, 623, 624, 625, 626, 632, 633, 636, 641, 644, 645, 647.
- Custom Natural Gas Incentive Program: An eligible Customer is any non-transport-only business or non-profit organization served under NIPSCO's natural gas tariffs 421, 425 and 451.
- Prescriptive Natural Gas Incentive Program: Any non-transport business or non-profit organization served under NIPSCO natural gas tariffs 421, 425 and 451.
