| Incentive Size and Funding Source | The FlexTech program helps identify and encourage the implementation of cost-effective energy efficiency, technical evaluations, process improvement analysis, energy master plans, retro-commissioning and development of CHP projects. Cost-sharing incentives are available to eligible participants who undertake CHP Project studies. For eligible CHP studies, NYSERDA will cost-share up to $1,000,000. |

Facilities must pay into the electric or gas System Benefits Charge (SBC). |

| Other Selected Eligibility Criteria | CHP studies must investigate the site-specific technical and economic feasibility of installing gas-fired CHP. All scopes of work must identify the specific uses for the recovered heat. Proposals seeking assistance with evaluating CHP systems for which less than 75% of the electricity generated would be used on-site are not eligible for funding. |
