| Incentive Size and Funding Source | The Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation (RIEDC) provides cash grants for renewable energy projects including commercial scale CHP. The Rhode Island Renewable Energy Fund and the alternative compliance payments from the state's renewable portfolios standard fund the program. Funding is available for up to 20% of project cost. The maximum grant is $75,000 per individual project. The program's budget is $1 million for 2013. |
