Emissions Reduction Projects
2011 Awarded Projects
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded $50 million for clean diesel projects that reduce diesel emissions and improve air quality. Projects replace, retrofit or repower more than 8,000 older school buses, trucks, locomotives, marine vessels, and other diesel powered machines.
National Funding Assistance Awards
Projects funded by the National Clean Diesel Funding Assistance Program, which awards competitive grants to fund implementation of EPA or CARB verified and certified diesel emission reduction technologies. For more information about each project, contact the regional representative.
