Climate Leaders Webinar: September 14, 2010
Practical Approaches to Becoming a 21st Century Sustainable Corporation: Implementing the Ceres Roadmap
Earlier this year, Ceres released its Roadmap for Sustainability, calling for improvements in corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, disclosure, and key performance metrics. Among the improvements, the report calls for leading companies to reduce GHG emissions by 25 percent from 2005 to 2020 and improve energy efficiency by at least 50 percent.
This webinar featured a representative from Ceres who gave an overview of the Roadmap and shared feedback it has received from various corporations. The webinar also featured a representative from EMC Corporation, a Climate Leaders Partner, who discussed how the company is using the Roadmap and is identifying and implementing concrete steps to reduce its own GHG emissions.
Presenters:
- Andrea Moffat, Senior Director, Corporate Programs, Ceres
