Climate Leaders Webinar: May 13, 2009
On May 13, 2009 from 1-2:15pm EST, Climate Leaders hosted a webinar to discuss key tips and resources that Climate Leaders partners—both significant and low emitters—can use to reduce their energy use.
Tertia Speiser, Manager, Climate Advisory and Business Market Services at ESource, presented on federal and state resources that companies can use to help them reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
Trista Claxon, Manager of Strategic Projects at Fetter, a graphics and printing company located in Kentucky that provides labeling services to the paint and coatings industry, then provided an overview of how Fetter implemented certain energy savings tips. Fetter, a low emitter, joined Climate Leaders in 2008 and has already been able to make substantial reductions in their energy usage. Both significant emitters and low emitters may find the presentation useful, since the reductions Fetter implemented can be done at the facility level. Moreover, for companies that are looking to engage their suppliers who are low emitters, this presentation will provide insight on how smaller companies can take advantage of energy saving tips and resources.
