Exposure-based Prioritization Challenge

US EPA is exploring novel approaches and tools for screening, evaluating and classifying chemicals, based on the potential for biologically-relevant human exposure, to inform prioritization and toxicity testing.

Toward that end, a workshop was recently held to explore approaches for sharing relevant prioritization experience and information; and foster engagement and higher level thinking on exposure science needs for prioritization. One output of this workshop was development of the attached model challenge. The objective of this challenge is to gain a better understanding of the process by which existing prioritization schemes or models evaluate potential exposures.
Participation is open for all that are interested. If you would like to participate please let us know so we can provide updates and schedule group conference calls. Results should be submitted to Elaine CohenHubal or to Daniel Vallero of NERL by Dec 15.
