Everyone uses water. But how much do most people really know about it? As water professionals, we believe it’s important for everyone to understand how water shapes our lives. Jacques Cousteau said, “We forget that the water cycle and the life cycle are one.” Understanding water means understanding life.
EPA R6 and the Water Environment Association of Texas (www.weat.org) designed this poster to simply yet realistically portray the parallel water cycles that define our world. The poster can be used with learners of all ages to raise awareness and understanding of the essential natural resource: Water.
An updated edition of the poster, incorporating more recent treatment technologies and practices, will soon be available at the WEAT website.
