Center for Environmental Finance (CEF)

Recognizing the value of the outreach services provided by the existing Network of Environmental Finance Centers (EFCs), EPA Region 7 committed funds and entered into a cooperative agreement with Boise State University, and the Region 10 EFC, to create a Satellite Environmental Finance Center (SEFC). The Boise State University SEFC has the mission in Region 7 to provide financial outreach assistance to communities, tribes, businesses, and organizations within the four-state region that are facing the "how to pay" challenges of environmental protection and regulatory compliance.

The Boise State University SEFC in Region 7 opened in October 2007 is located in the Region 7 EPA office and provides many of the services, tools and technical assistance offered by the Region 10 EFC.
