EFIN Services and Outreach
The Environmental Financing Information Network is comprised of:
- Website:
EFIN is responsible for maintaining and updating the Center for Environmental Finance's (CEF) Web site. The Web site contains information on the components of the CEF, the Environmental Advisory Board (EFAB) and the Environmental Finance Center (EFC) Network, and provides full text versions of some of their publications. Key among them are the Guidebook of Financial Tools and the International Environmental Finance Tools. There are also Financial Tools pages which have links to sources within the EPA and outside the agency. The Web site provides easy access to all the activities of the CEF.
- Infoline:
The EFIN Center operates an infoline that provides callers with referrals and a point of contact for ordering documents.
The infoline number is (202) 564-4994; the hours of operation are: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Eastern Time), Monday-Friday (excluding Federal Holidays). The EFIN Center can also be reached via FAX at: (202) 565-2587 and email at efin(@)epa.gov.
- Publication Distribution:
The EFIN Librarian distributes publications produced by the Center for Environmental Finance (CEF), the Environmental Financial Advisory Board (EFAB), and the Environmental Finance Centers (EFCs). Some of these are available in full text on the CEF Web site.
For documents published by other EPA Offices, the Librarian will direct the patron to the appropriate contact. The contact will also be in the ordering information in the abstracts.
Note: Many EPA documents are available in full-text on the EPA's World Wide Web site or can be ordered via the National Service Center for Environmental Publications Catalog.
Requests are accepted through fax, phone, or email. Replies will be sent by fax (for documents under 20 pages), electronic mail and U.S. mail.
