Public Recognition and Awards

EPA is providing public recognition and awards to SMM Electronics Challenge participants for their commitment to recycling electronics responsibly.

Participants will be publicly recognized on EPA’s website as a Registrant, New Participant, or Active Participant.

Participants are invited to apply to earn the following awards:

Innovation: Demonstration of exceptional innovation in responsible electronics collection & recycling practices, or make deliberate product design changes to improve and enhance recyclability and product longevity and/or reduce waste.
Education and Outreach: Exceptional contributions to public education and outreach activities on electronics collection and recycling programs, and the sharing of best practices with industry peers.
Leadership: Demonstration of exceptional leadership in responsible electronics collection and recycling practices.

EPA will provide participants further details about the awards and recognition process.
