The Natural Gas STAR Partner Update – Spring 2012
This issue features details about the 2012 Natural Gas STAR Annual Implementation Workshop which was held in Denver, Colorado. Also in this issue is information about the newly revised Natural Gas STAR technical documents of recommended technologies and practices, as well as an overview of California's recently launched Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program.
2011 Natural Gas STAR Award Winners Announced
Each year, EPA recognizes the efforts and achievements of outstanding Natural Gas STAR partners during a special awards luncheon at the Program's Annual Implementation Workshop. Recognition is based on methane emission reductions achieved, implementation of a variety of technologies and practices, and support of Program activities, initiatives, and outreach. Specific award categories included: Partner of the Year (Production, Gathering and Processing, Transmission, and Distribution sectors), International Partner of the Year, Implementation Manager of the Year, and Continuing Excellence.
