In this chapter the current status for estimationof "safe doses" in carcinogenic experiments is examined. After considering various definitions of safe doses, a method of standardizing safe doses based on some objective parameters is introduced; and a procedure of estimating standardized safe doses under competing risks is discussed. Examples are given to illustrate how raw data can be analyzed by using the proposed methods.
