Request for Applications: Lake Priorities
Selection of Proposals: Request for Proposals on Two Topics: Great Lakes Pollution Prevention and Reduction and Rochester RAP Management
Selections of Proposals submitted to the U.S. EPA Great Lakes National Program Office (GLNPO) for the Pollution Prevention and Reduction portion of this announcement (Funding Opportunity Number: EPA-R5-GL2008-4) have been made. Earlier this year applicants submitted 29 pollution prevention and reduction proposals totaling $2,835,769. Seven projects totaling $565,278 were selected. The review process has not been completed for Rochester RAP Management.
Decisions were based on evaluation of the proposals against the selection factors in Section V of the Request for Proposals. The proposals which have been selected to submit a full application package are:
- GL2008-4-06 Follow-on Analysis for New Potential PBT Chemicals
- GL2008-4-07 Mobilizing/Coordinating Industry GLBTS Support – 2008/2009
- GL2008-4-08 Biological Effects and Elimination of Estrogenic Septic Discharge
- GL2008-4-16 Emerging Halogenated Organic Pollutants in the Sediment of the Great Lakes
- GL2008-4-17 Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons Released from Parking Lots – A Controlled Field Experiment to Determine if Sealcoat is a Significant Source of PAHs in the Environment
- GL2008-4-18 Mercury Science & Policy Conference
- GL2008-4-26 Innovative Strategies For Pollution Reduction
