This grant will support the collection of sediment samples in Presque
Isle Bay, Pennsylvania. The assessment will include the collection and
analysis of sediment cores and surficial samples from 10 locations. Samples
will be analyzed for chemical contaminants, biological toxicity, and benthic
community structure. Results will be used in making sediment management
decisions for the Presque Isle Bay sediments. |
