This interagency agreement will support the development of a cost
estimate and site preparation design plans for a beneficial use
demonstration project at the Toledo Harbor Confined Disposal Facility (CDF).
Several private vendors have indicated that they would like to use
significant amounts of the dredged material from annual navigation dredging
in separate, economically self-sufficient projects. This project will
investigate the economic feasibility of the beneficial use projects and
determine the site preparation work to prepare the site for use by the
private vendors.
