This grant will support the development of a guidance manual for
assessing and making remediation decisions regarding contaminated sediments.
The manual will include a focused review of relevant literature and develop
an ecosystem-based framework for assessing and managing contaminated
sediments that is consistent with the International Joint Commission
guidance on ecosystem management. The manual will be reviewed and published
as an EPA-GLNPO document. |
