The remediation of White Lake has been planned by the State of Michigan
for the spring of 2000. The Lake Michigan Federation and the White Lake
Public Advisory Council (PAC) plan to leverage that effort by conducting
public outreach on the cleanup effort, promoting its benefits to the
community, and thoroughly involving community members throughout the course
of the cleanup. Ultimately, this could inspire other successful initiatives
around Lake Michigan. |
