EPA hosts a national, year-long campaign to encourage communities coast-to-coast to use renewable energy and fight climate change. Over the span of a year, EPA GPCs track and report their collective green power use and green power percentage of total electricity use. GPCs are ranked according to these two categories on a quarterly schedule. The first updates to the 2013-2014 GPC Challenge rankings are below. The final rankings and Challenge winners will be announced in September 2014.
