| Partner Profile 1400 Museum Park Condominium Association is a luxury condominium building located on Museum Campus, a 57-acre park that sits in front of Lake Michigan and surrounds three of the Chicago’s most notable museums and historic Solider Field. By joining the EPA Green Power Partnership, the building is expanding its premium living experience to include environmental sustainability. The decision to purchase green power was easy; it’s affordable and results in a reduction in the building’s carbon footprint. Not only is the Association getting a portion of its energy needs through renewable energy sources, they have also reduced energy power by replacing close to 350 light bulbs in the building to more efficient LEDs and fluorescents. The Board of Directors is also looking into future green power initiatives such as solar energy and electric car charging stations. By expanding our use of alternative power sources, we hope to positively affect the life and well-being of the residents, and make strides toward a lasting impact on the environment. | |
