Appleton Coated purchases green power equal to a portion of its electricity consumption in order to satisfy their customers' demand for a "greener" paper product. Effective October 1, 2011, 100 percent of the electricity used to manufacture paper carrying the Utopia Green Power designation is matched with renewable energy credits from third-party certified energy sources (primarily wind). | |
