| Partner Profile Children's Museum of Pittsburgh provides innovative museum experiences that inspire joy, creativity, and curiosity. The Museum provides the highest quality exhibits and programs for learning and play. The Museum is also a partner and a resource for people who work with children. The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh became the largest Silver LEED certified museum in the country in March 2006. This validates that the Museum's expansion has been designed and constructed using sustainable practices with particular attention to site development, water conservation, energy management, using recycled materials, waste management, reusing resources, indoor air quality as well as developing new programs for visitors. The Museum purchases renewable energy credits to cover all of its energy use. | |
