| Partner Profile As a founding EPA Green Power Partner and 2003 Partner of the Year, the City of Portland, Oregon recognizes the importance of investing in green power to keep the air and water clean and to preserve the quality of life for its residents. Portland is currently generating nearly 14 million kWh of clean renewable power through on-site solar, biogas, micro wind and micro hydro resources. The city also purchases about 2 million kWh of renewable energy certificates (RECs), bringing its total up to ten percent renewables. | |
