Partner Profile
Headquartered in Beaverton, EasyStreet Online Services is Oregon's largest independent IT infrastructure provider, offering reliable colocation, managed services, digital storage, monitoring and high-speed Internet access. EasyStreet is committed to becoming a more sustainable business. We recognize that caring for the environment is crucial to our employees, our customers, and Oregon's economy and livability. Data centers are energy intensive. We are actively working to mitigate the environmental consequences of energy consumption that go hand-in-hand with being a thriving data center and Managed Services Provider. To that end, EasyStreet is purchasing over five million kilowatt-hours of green power annually, although that number is expected to go down by over 500,000 kWh due to a newly implemented Hot/Cold Aisle Containment Project. Lessons learned through this project enhance EasyStreet's plans for a new data center expansion scheduled for completion in Q4 2010. Designed to be a state-of-the-art example of an energy efficient facility, this is the first data center project to qualify for funding through the Oregon Department of Energy's Small Energy Loan Program (SELP). EasyStreet has also applied for Business Energy Tax Credits (BETCs) and incentives from Energy Trust of Oregon. With 100 percent wind power, a unique Indirect Evaporative Cooling (IEC) system and rooftop rainwater reclamation, the new data center is expected to not only be the greenest commercial facility in Oregon, but will also deliver the highest power density available for customer servers.
