It was natural, therefore, for Frost to lead by example again when they integrated energy-efficient practices throughout their organization including the participation in a local program to purchase renewable energy credits (RECs). Through their participation, Frost is showing they support the generation of clean, renewable energy not only in the St. Louis metro area but throughout Missouri, Illinois and the Midwest region. "Our decision to offset some of our carbon footprint with the purchase of RECs reflects our company's emphasis on environmental consciousness as reflected in our own 'Green Choice' program, which provides the latest in energy-efficient products and services."
