The company purchases renewable energy through their utility provider and renewable energy certificates (RECs) equivalent to 125% of their electricity consumption. This decision was motivated by its company-wide initiative to cut the company’s carbon footprint and simultaneously support local renewable energy activities (and the educational and employment opportunities that come with them).
