| Partner Profile The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency's mission is to work with Minnesotans to protect, conserve, and improve our environment and enhance our quality of life. Leading by example, the agency hopes to educate and inform others about the benefits of purchasing green power. In 2006, the Agency made a commitment to purchase a portion of its electrical energy from green power. The Agency entered into a 3 year agreement with their landlord at the St. Paul campus to contribute $9,000 per year toward green power purchases. Any rebates, credits, or money left unspent was applied to the purchase of additional wind power. In 2008, the Agency added their Brainerd campus into their green power commitment. The Brainerd office is powered completely with wind power. | |
