| Partner Profile Oregon State University (OSU) is a comprehensive public research university and one of only two land, sea, space and sun grant universities in the country. Located in Corvallis, Oregon, OSU prides itself in environmental stewardship and sustainability initiatives. In 2007, students voted to assess a fee on themselves to support renewable energy for the campus. This fee resulted in sizable purchases of renewable energy, which must include at least 20 percent from regional renewable sources. In 2008, OSU won a Green Power Leadership Award for its outstanding support of green power. More recently, OSU administration committed to purchasing green power for the OSU campus. | |
