| Partner Profile Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD) is the second largest water utility in the state of Oregon. TVWD joined the Partnership in 2006 as a member of the Leadership Club and purchases green power for all of its operations, including its headquarters building and outlying pump stations. TVWD's commitment to green power is strongly supported by its Board of Commissioners and management. In addition to its green power purchase, TVWD has a LEED silver certified headquarters building which includes a 110-kW solar installation, received the American Public Works Association's Julian Award for Sustainability in 2004, has been certified as an Eco-Logical Business for its Fleet Services since 2006, received an Oregon 'Businesses for a Sustainable Tomorrow' (BEST) award in 2007, was ranked 15th among Oregon’s 100 Best Green Companies to Work for in 2012, and pledged zero net emissions through Climate Leaders from 2009 - 2014. | |
