| Partner Profile The U.S. General Services Administration's Region 10 is purchasing renewable energy certificates (RECs) for six buildings in their four-state region, which consists of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska. Region 10 is purchasing green power to help GSA meet its nationwide goal of obtaining three percent of its electricity from renewable energy sources. In addition, Region 10 has four solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in operation, with an additonal 200kW PV array to be added in early 2011 and one geothermal site. | |
