| Partner Profile Vinoteca is a locally-owned restaurant in Washington, D.C.'s U Street neighborhood. We have been open for five years and using clean wind power for more than half that time. We feel that using electricity created by wind turbines is not only cost effective, but also the only way for us to ensure that this and further generation have clean air to breathe and fresh water to drink. In the words of Tim Galvin, our Dining Room Director, "All of the ingredients we use, from produce to poultry, come from nature. We have an obligation to help preserve nature by using clean, sustainable energy that doesn't hurt the environment we depend on for our products." | |
